ZAUNE is a fashion brand of ecological and fair- trade minimalist streatwear. The brand was born out of a twofold desire : sustainable and transparent fashion as well as true inclusivity in fashion. The brand name ZAUNE is a merge of the founders’ name NZal lAUrianE, highlighting her Congolese heritage and Belgian nationality.
The brand focuses on essentials that everyone , no matter how fashion-oriented, could relate to. Through a collection of minimalistic yet timeless pieces of clothing, ZAUNE aims to offer a luxury experience of craftmanship while celebrating its African heritage.

The core of ZAUNE can be found in our motto in lingala LOLA EZA SUKA. The core message lies in the dual interpretation of the slogan: “The sky is the limit” and “paradise is the end”.
When it comes to ZAUNE, the sky is the limit. We believe that there is nothing that can not be done in Sub-Saharan Africa, where life started. We aim to not only support and in the longterm produce ethical fashion in Sub- Saharan Africa, but also be a point of reference for afro-black culture. We believe in the power of Africa and that its opportunities are limitless.
Paradise is the vision we hold for the socio-economic empowerment of Africa. We believe in a better future for our motherland and we are committed to play our part in making this future reality. For us, Africa is a paradise we hold dear and that we want to see flourish.
